San Jose Senior Pictures | Abbey’s Dance-Inspired Senior Session

It’s been a little while since this session, but it’s finally time to share Abbey’s beautiful San Jose senior pictures! Abbey was one of my 2020 Amy Drake Photography Senior Ambassadors and is also a talented member of the Presentation High School Dance Team. If you’ve been following along with my recent blog posts, you’ve probably noticed a theme—I absolutely love photographing dancers!

There’s something so inspiring about working with dancers during their senior sessions. They bring confidence, grace, and creativity that allow us to create portraits that are both timeless and artistic. Abbey is no exception. Her natural movement and elegant lines made every location come to life, and one of my favorite images from the session is the stunning portrait of her in a flowing yellow dress. It’s the perfect combination of artistry, movement, and personality.

Along with those creative dance portraits, we captured a variety of classic San Jose senior pictures during her Senior Ambassador session. From urban backdrops to colorful textures and beautiful natural light, every location complemented Abbey’s easygoing personality. She was so relaxed in front of the camera, and her sweet, genuine smile shines through in every image.

One of the best parts of being a Senior Ambassador is getting the opportunity to create multiple sessions throughout the year. It gives us time to capture a variety of looks and locations while celebrating everything that makes each senior unique. Abbey brought such positive energy to every shoot, and it has been a joy having her as part of the Amy Drake Photography ambassador team.
