The Grunge Rock Post

So are YOU addicted to Guitar Hero?  I’m very much a sucker for this kind of thing – I’m a big time music junkie.  I first saw it at my nephews’ house and after a round or two, I was hooked.  I convinced my husband and twins to spend a day searching the Bay Area for it high and low the day after Christmas.  We finally found it and the obsession began.  My husband got just as hooked as me and before we knew it we had made it through Guitar Heros I, II and III, as well as the 80s version.  If I heard “Barracuda” while walking through a store, I had to put my hands in my pockets to stop from air guitaring those colored plastic keys.  We then spent a week in Lake Tahoe and played it so much I can honestly say my fingers hurt by the end of the week.   It was a great “apres ski” activity and everyone with us got equally as hooked.  I have a feeling it will go down in history as one of those “You know you were a kid of the 2000s if you … {insert trendy toy} here”.  But it was fun while it lasted.  While our friend Charlie rocked out, I stole a few pictures of his beautiful daughter Megan…
